Our law firm has been handling a large volume of commercial and retail collection matters for over 20 years. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants in both areas, however the vast majority of our files are being handled on behalf of commercial litigation plaintiffs. Our collection practice has grown enormously over the last ten years. We have represented a wide variety of businesses and individuals, and have collected millions of dollars on their behalf. We also represent defendants who are being sued for money allegedly owed, and provide them with the best defense to protect their assets. We also represent plaintiffs who are seeking compensation for their injuries in personal injury lawsuits and we represent clients who are being sued in personal injury lawsuits and require our expertise in their defense.

• Collection Litigation

  Marshal Coleman has been representing collection clients since the inception of his law practice over 20 years ago. He currently represents the City of New York, Fortune 500 corporations, debt buyers, national and international manufacturing and sales organizations, New York City commercial and residential building owners, banks, and local large and small business entities, as well as individuals. From case inception through judgment and enforcement proceedings, the firm can immediately update its clients with the progress of their cases instantly. Clients are updated regularly being provided with the latest available information about their cases.

  Recently, there has been a need to represent individuals and commercial clients who are defendants in lawsuits, and are being sued for both large and small sums of money. In these situations, defendants are often unaware of their rights and defenses. We inform our clients of the defenses that are available to insure that they are provided with the best legal defense possible.

• Accident Cases

  Marshal Coleman has been representing all types of accident victims since 1983. He received his initial training as a claims specialist with the Greater New York Mutual Insurance Company in New York City, and as lead counsel of plaintiff's personal injury matters at a Manhattan Law Firm. He started his own law practice representing victims of accidents in 1985. During those years his cases have involved victims of automobile crashes, slips and falls in buildings and on city and private sidewalks, defective products, including malfunctioning trucks and cars, construction site accidents, on the job accidents, medical malpractice against doctors, hospitals and nurses, legal malpractice, wrongful death and lead poisoning. Mr. Coleman has tried numerous cases to verdict and has collected millions of dollars for his clients for their personal injuries.

  Over the years there has been a need to represent those who have been sued by others for personal injuries. Defendants who own their own homes, own homes which they rent to others, two and three family home owners, multiple dwellings owners, owners of cars, trucks, boats and others are often in need of an attorney who can represent them in defense of a personal injury lawsuit. Marshal Coleman has been representing these defendants for over twenty years. He specializes in representing those who are without insurance to protect them from the costs and exposure to a personal injury lawsuit.
